Artist Martin Cary Horowitz puts the finishing touches on his “Golf Ball” statue following its installation at the south entrance of the Santa Fe Community Convention Center on Monday, July 9, 2012. The statue has a 48” diameter gold golf ball, which is sitting on a 24” candy apple red tee, which is on top of a 36” metal stand, making the sculpture approximately 9 feet tall and weighs approximately 500lbs.
